Service Description

Childhood is the most crucial stage for development due to the plasticity of the brain. Therefore, exposure to various experiences and social interactions is necessary. However, children these days are taken away the much-needed exposure and opportunities to explore and interact. GAC aims to counter this challenging situation by providing seminars and training for parents, caregivers, and/or domestic helpers to support the development of the child at home through art. The Training Program will revolve around how to conduct art projects with their kids professionally, without hurting the students’ passion and creativity. After the 4 weeks program, we're sure you will be much more confident and fluent in directing your children's learnings with art and in their creative interaction. We care about the unique personalities of each child, and that is why we are providing you the knowledge to assess your kid's artistic tendencies and suggest you the most appropriate set of art projects for your kid according to such individual traits. * This 4 weeks program includes: - Seminar to learn the importance of art education, theories behind the stages of artistic development, how to teach art at home, and how to avoid common mistakes. - Learn how to use the GAC Art Aptitude Scale Test (our uniquely developed assessment framework) to know your children’s artistic tendencies. - Small group briefing session divided and grouped by the assessment result of the GAC Art Aptitude Scale Test where GAC explains the unique curriculum provided to the group and the teaching know-how. - 4 sets of GAC Art Curriculum (art projects for kids) will be sent to each parent/ caregiver, which includes teaching guides with learning objectives, attributes to focus on, and relevant artistic knowledge. - Each parent / caregiver to submit project reports for GAC’s monitoring and feedback service. - One 1:1 session with GAC professional (15 min) to check on the progress, and to share feedback - a unique chance to receive customized, personalized consultation. - A group seminar to share GAC’s insights and knowledge in children’s psychology and therapeutic art. Learn how to understand what’s really in your children’s minds by learning how to conduct simple art psychology tests. At the participant's own discretion, parents can opt-in for additional personalized services on the Aptitude Test and Art Psychology analysis at extra costs.
