Terms and Conditions (Art Shop)
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or purchasing any products from Gowld Art Centre.
By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our service.

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. Your continued use of our service after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Products and Descriptions
Our shop sells two main categories of products:
- Original Artwork: Original pieces or limited edition prints from various artists, curated and sold by Gowld Art Centre
- Art Supplies and Sourced Goods: Products we source from various suppliers and distributors
We make every effort to display the colors and details of our products accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display will be perfectly accurate. All dimensions and weights are approximate.
3. Orders and Payment
Order Acceptance: Your order is an offer to purchase our products. All orders are subject to product availability and our acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including errors in product or price information, suspected fraud, or inability to fulfill the order.
Pricing: All prices are listed in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD). Prices are subject to change without notice.
Payment Methods: We accept the following payment methods:
- FPS
- Bank Transfer
- PayMe
- Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard)
Full payment is required at the time of purchase for all online orders. For bank transfers, orders will be processed once payment is confirmed in our account.
4. Shipping and Delivery (Hong Kong)
We offer the following delivery options for customers in Hong Kong:
SF Express Freight Collect:
- We arrange shipment via SF Express
- All shipping fees are paid by the customer upon delivery
- Includes standard delivery charge and any applicable remote area surcharges
- We provide a tracking number once your order is dispatched
- We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier or failed delivery attempts
- Customer is responsible for providing a deliverable address and coordinating with SF Express for any delivery issues
Studio Pickup:
- Collect your order from our studio at 602, 6/F Eastern Centre, 1065 King's Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong
- We will email you when your order is ready for collection
- Collection Hours: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Tuesday to Saturday)
- Bring your order confirmation email for collection
- Items must be collected within 14 days of the ready-for-pickup notification
- After this period, storage fees may apply, or the order may be considered abandoned
5. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
All sales are final for both Original Artwork and Art Supplies & Sourced Goods. Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds based on change of mind or incorrect ordering.
We only accept returns and issue refunds under the following condition:
Damaged or Defective Items: If your item arrives damaged or is defective, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery or pickup at info@gowldart.com. Please provide your order number and clear photographs of the damage/defect and the packaging. We will investigate and, upon confirmation, offer a replacement (if available) or a full refund.
6. Copyright and Intellectual Property
Original Artwork: When you purchase a physical piece of art, you own the physical object. The copyright and all reproduction rights for the artwork remain with the original artist. You may not reproduce, distribute, create derivative works, or use the image of the artwork for commercial purposes.
Art Supplies and Sourced Goods: All trademarks, logos, and copyrights associated with the sourced supplies are the property of their respective owners.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, the service and all products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied.
In no event shall Gowld Art Centre, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service or the products. Our total liability to you for any claim whatsoever shall not exceed the purchase price of the product you purchased from us.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
